In June, 2022, I participated in a photography workshop organized by Arizona Highways PhotoScapes. I traveled to the Olympic Peninsula on the Pacific-Ocean coast of Washington state, USA.
Professional photographer Suzanne Mathia shared her knowledge and experience with us. Photo guide Meng Tay provided expert assistance.
I arrived in Seattle, Washington state, a few days before the workshop to explore the city. I used the convenient public transportation in Seattle as well as walking. I found excellent restaurants such as
and stayed at the Sheraton Grand Seattle hotel in downtown Seattle. The workshop began with a ferry ride from Seattle to Bainbridge Island across the Elliott Bay. Then our group drove to the far western coast of the Olympic Peninsula to explore the undeveloped beaches, temperate rain forests, waterfalls, and other landscapes in and around the Olympic National Park.
